Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium - August 30, 2010 - Undaunted by the continually changing weather of this year's Belgium Grand Prix, GP3 driver Alexander Rossi, made his way back to the podium with a 2nd place finish on Sunday securing the team championship for ART Grand Prix.

″I like the wet and have a lot of confidence,″ commented Rossi. ″I had a bit of adversity and bad luck to overcome this weekend, so it was good to have a clean run on Sunday, scoring enough points for the team to secure ART Team Championship. I will build on this as we head to the finale in Monza.″

″Alexander ended the weekend on a high,″ said ART Grand Prix owner, Nicolas Todt. ″After a difficult qualifying session and...

Hello Everyone! I'm Back in Europe and Ready for Spa This Weekend

Sunday, August 22, 2010 8:46AM

I looked forward to updating everyone on my August break in California.

The August break has come to an end and as I ready for this weekend€™s Belgium Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps, I wanted to give you an update on my recent time spent in California.

I was home in California almost 3 weeks. Wow, it was action packed and just flew by. I reconnected with friends, met an American motorsports legend, Dan Gurney, had some nice dinners with friends and sponsors, trained with my home physio, and attended Infineon Raceway for Indy Car practice, just to name a few things.

However, the highlight of my month was meeting Dan Gurney and having the opportunity to attend his tribute and reunion at Laguna Seca during the classic...

Back in California for August Break, Thanks for Logging on!

Saturday, August 07, 2010 11:38AM

August break came at a nice time, and even better having won the last race in Hungary.

I love the racing life and all that it entails, living in Europe, experiencing different cultures, but nothing is like home. I have not been home to California since January. The first thing to do, is say hi to my buddies and to catch up with everyone.

Its sometimes funny when they ask me about my life because most of them have no idea what its all about. Most of them think that the motor sports world begins and ends with what little they know about NASCAR. I try to explain to them what I€™m doing in sort of NASCAR language, as in the 17 car or the back end was loose. As my NASCAR dictionary is also pretty limited, we end up going round...

Welcome to Budapest, and Thanks for logging on

Thursday, July 29, 2010 2:24AM

Well, Hockenheim didn't go exactly how I'd liked. No Points is No Good! I've put that behind me, with 100 per cent of my focus on Hungary this weekend.

I enjoy the Hungaroring, having success there in 2009 International Formula Master finishing 3rd. It has lots of technical, slow corners and a few quick ones too, with changing cambers and a very distinct groove of grip. You also feel really close to the fans and the marshals in Hungary. Partly because the whole track is in a sort of natural stadium and partly because Budapest is such a great city. It's usually hot; the Danube river flows right thru downtown; and you feel all the time as if you're in the middle of a big motor sports party, with race fans everywhere you go. See a...

Rossi looking forward to scoring points in Hungary

Wednesday, July 28, 2010 9:48AM

Budapest, Hungary - July 28, 2010 - After a frustration filled German Grand Prix at Hockenheim, Alexander Rossi, is looking forward to GP3's next stop this weekend at the Hungaroring in Budapest. The ART driver is anxious to score points as he did in the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix while competing in the International Formula Master Series with a 3rd place podium finish.

In Germany this past weekend, Saturday morning and Round 9 of the GP3 Series saw Alexander with a disappointing starting position of P19 after he endured a qualifying session in wet conditions where he could not find a comfortable balance in the car set up, compounded by a grid penalty carried over from practice.

Alexander made a sensational start from 19th place,...

ROSSI SHOVED OUT OF HOCKENHEIM RACE 1

Saturday, July 24, 2010 12:54PM

HOCKENHEIM (GER) 24 JULY 2010: Alexander Rossi suffered a dramatic crash at the Hockenheimring after he was pitched into a spin on Lap 4 of today's GP3 Series race. The 18 year-old had made a sensational start from 19th place, having endured a difficult qualifying with a two-place grid penalty. By the exit of Turn 1 Alexander was up to 11th. A multi-car shunt at the hairpin a few corners later brought out the Safety Car. Alexander attacked again at the restart, muscling up to sixth position through Turn 1 at the point he was taken out.
Rio Haryanto had spun through the right-hander, and Alexander kept his foot flat to the floor down the inside while the cars he was pursuing went to the left. But then three cars came back across the track...

Wanted to drop you all a quick note from Germany prior to rounds 9 and 10 this weekend at Hockenheim. Hope you are able to find what you need easier on my new and improved website. This is all still work in progress, just like racing and life.

I just can't believe how quickly the year is passing. One minute, I'm testing F1 over the winter in Spain, the next moment I'm challenging GP2 in the Middle East now we're at Hockenheim for rounds nine and ten of the GP3 series.

I look forward to capitalizing on my current 2nd place championship position this weekend in Germany. ART Grand Prix leads the Team Championship and we have proven to be at the sharp end of the stick.

I like the Hockenheim circuit, having tested here in June and...

Silverstone, Great Britain - July 14, 2010 - Sunday in Silverstone, led to a dramatic ending for race two of the GP3 Series as Alexander Rossi returned to the podium, crossing the line in third place, 0.09 sec ahead of Esteban Gutierrez and just behind Mirko Bortolotti. Having finished Saturday's race also in the points with a fifth place finish, Rossi leaves the British Grand Prix second in the GP3 Series Drivers Championship.

″After Valencia where a bit of bad luck prevented us from scoring any points, I was hoping to grab more than nine points in Silverstone. It is not enough,″ Rossi said. ″The race weekend, I felt that we were going to be in a real position for pole and challenge more wins, but there was not...
