The Verizon IndyCar Series made its return to Elkhart Lake's Road America for this weekend's Round 10 of competition, the first appearance for the America open-wheel championship at the scenic 4.048-mile road course in nearly a decade. Alexander Rossi fought a hard race at the circuit he’s previously had success at in his career, with front wing failure compromising the end result of what looked to be a very competitive KOHLER Grand Prix. Andretti-Herta Autosport rookie, Alexander Rossi has been nominated for the 2016 ESPYaward “Best Driver” for his fuel-saving victory at the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Rossi, a California-native, was also awarded the Fastest Rookie and Rookie of the Year honors for the 2016 Indianapolis 500. Alexander Rossi has moved up to P5 in the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series Championship after collecting solid points at the double weekend header in Detroit, Michigan. As the 2016 Championship season reaches its mid-way mark, Alexander now sits on a points tally of 242 overall, and is just 17 points away from 4th place driver Josef Newgarden.
This weekend saw the Californian driver return to the No 98 NAPA Auto Parts / Curb Honda blue and yellow car for the only double-header race weekend on the calendar. The 2.34-mile, 13-turn street circuit on Belle Isle in Detroit presented numerous challenges to drivers - from hard braking zones to speedy straights - with minimal opportunities for overtaking.

It has been an incredible week of top action and high drama at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as Alexander Rossi and the Andretti Autosport team prepared and today qualified for the historic 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Following a positive week of testing, which saw Alexander topping the time sheets and taking P1 in two out of the seven practice sessions, the IndyCar Series rookie narrowly missed out on securing a place in the Fast Nine Shootout, and was able to qualify in P11 overall, claiming the top rookie position overall, and lining him up on the third row of the grid for the highly anticipated and historic forthcoming race.

Alexander Rossi claimed the top rookie spot in the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, following a challenging weekend for the No.98 car and Andretti Autosport team. The scenic Barber Motorsports Park played host to the fourth round of the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series competition, which saw Alexander racing within the top ten before crossing the line in P15.
Two of the toughest practice sessions so far this season saw Alexander and the Andretti crew working hard to make changes the Castrol Edge/Curb Honda through Friday, with focus on improving performance ahead of qualifying, on a track notoriously tough to pass on.

Alexander Rossi returned to his home state of California this weekend for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach with Andretti Autosport and Verizon IndyCar Series. The weekend would be the first time the 24 year old driver would race on his home turf in his professional career; something he was very much looking forward to. Alexander was able to bounce back from challenging practice sessions with very strong qualifying and race pace, however despite the positive performance the end result on the California street circuit was ultimately compromised following a challenging race.

Alexander Rossi collected 18 more valuable points in his second race for the 2016 IndyCar Series this weekend, moving him to 12th in the Championship. Making his oval debut at the Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix, Alexander drove a calm and level-headed race to finish P14 following 250 laps of the intensely demanding Phoenix International Raceway.

Alexander Rossi finished his first IndyCar Series race just outside the top ten in P12 and leader of the rookies as round one of the 2016 season got underway on the streets of St Petersburg, Florida.
Alexander and Andretti Autosport made a strong start to the weekend as Friday’s practice session took place under typically blue Florida skies, with Alexander quickly putting his No. 98 car at the sharp end of the field. The American was able to open his first weekend of racing and third day behind the wheel of the black and white Indy car with a strong tally of 47 laps and a best time of 01:01.5198, impressing those around him by his capacity to adapt and immediately get straight on the pace.
