Alexander Rossi claimed the top rookie spot in the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, following a challenging weekend for the No.98 car and Andretti Autosport team. The scenic Barber Motorsports Park played host to the fourth round of the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series competition, which saw Alexander racing within the top ten before crossing the line in P15.
Two of the toughest practice sessions so far this season saw Alexander and the Andretti crew working hard to make changes the Castrol Edge/Curb Honda through Friday, with focus on improving performance ahead of qualifying, on a track notoriously tough to pass on.

Alexander Rossi returned to his home state of California this weekend for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach with Andretti Autosport and Verizon IndyCar Series. The weekend would be the first time the 24 year old driver would race on his home turf in his professional career; something he was very much looking forward to. Alexander was able to bounce back from challenging practice sessions with very strong qualifying and race pace, however despite the positive performance the end result on the California street circuit was ultimately compromised following a challenging race.

Alexander Rossi collected 18 more valuable points in his second race for the 2016 IndyCar Series this weekend, moving him to 12th in the Championship. Making his oval debut at the Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix, Alexander drove a calm and level-headed race to finish P14 following 250 laps of the intensely demanding Phoenix International Raceway.

Alexander Rossi finished his first IndyCar Series race just outside the top ten in P12 and leader of the rookies as round one of the 2016 season got underway on the streets of St Petersburg, Florida.
Alexander and Andretti Autosport made a strong start to the weekend as Friday’s practice session took place under typically blue Florida skies, with Alexander quickly putting his No. 98 car at the sharp end of the field. The American was able to open his first weekend of racing and third day behind the wheel of the black and white Indy car with a strong tally of 47 laps and a best time of 01:01.5198, impressing those around him by his capacity to adapt and immediately get straight on the pace.

Alexander Rossi is back in the Manor Racing fold as Official Reserve Driver. Although he’ll be racing in the 2016 IndyCar Series, he will also be making history as the first driver to perform a Formula 1 role simultaneously.
Alex will attend 11 Grands Prix with Manor Racing, where he will work with the engineers and drivers to help develop the MRT05, contribute to team and partner marketing activities and be available to deputise should he be required to compete at short notice. Alexander Rossi will make his Verizon IndyCar Series debut in 2016 with Andretti Autosport. Rossi, who will make the transition from the FIA Formula 1 World Championship to IndyCar, will pilot the No. 98 Honda. Alexander Rossi returned to Racing Engineering and the GP2 Series this weekend to defend his second place in the 2015 championship following his positive five races in Formula 1. Despite being on top form throughout the weekend, issues with the car compromised his penultimate round of racing, and after some excellent on track battles he heads to Abu Dhabi in a strong second place in the overall Driver Rankings.

Alexander Rossi has concluded his fifth race with Manor Marussia F1 Team after the Formula 1 Grande Prêmio Petrobras do Brasil 2015 took place today.
