With humble gratitude we’d like to thank our sponsors, supporters and fans for their dedication in 2011, which has proved again to be another fantastic year for Alexander and Team Rossi Motorsports.
Alexander finished 3rd overall in one of the globes most competitive formula’s, World Series by Renault F3.5, along with Alexander’s place amongst an elite few in the FIA Institute Young Driver Excellence Academy and the senior member of the Team Lotus (now Caterham) F1 Driver development program. Alexander experienced a blessed 2011 and grabbed the attention of the motorsport industry.
Thank you for your continued commitment and belief in Alexander and his goal of becoming the next American in Formula 1. With the eagerly anticipated US Grand Prix returning in late 2012 to a new venue in Austin, Texas, coupled with the recent announcement of the New York Grand Prix to be added in 2013 on the New Jersey shore front, the prospects for an American driver have never looked so promising.
“When I stop and reflect on my career thus far, I have so much to be thankful for,” Alexander Rossi commented. “There are so many people that have made it possible for me to race each season that I’m truly humbled when I stop and think about it. I love to race, this is my life! Since 10 years old when I was given my first opportunity to race in karts, my passion, drive and determination has always been the same. To make and succeed in Formula 1! I’ve made the most of every opportunity that I’ve been fortunate to have and I’m continually reminded of the large number of people that include investors and sponsors that believe in me, who have also sacrificed so much for me to be where I am today. 2011 was great year of hard work and many new successes and we are now many steps closer to F1. This past year could not have been possible without the support of Team Lotus (now Caterham F1) and belief from Tony Fernandes along with FIA Institute and my race winning WSR team, Fortec Motorsports. I am very excited about the relationships we have formed and my future in motorsports.”
We look forward to sharing the news and announcement regarding Alexander’s 2012 plans very soon and realize this journey would not be possible without all of you.
We wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season and a great New Year!
Stay Tuned for fantastic and prosperous 2012.
God Bless,
Team Rossi Motorsports
