Following already two successful winter tests in Spain earlier this month, Alexander Rossi spent the past two days circulating Paul Ricard, Le Castellet, France for the third collective pre-season FR3.5 test with Fortec Motorsport.
Sunny and warm conditions, ideal for testing, greeted Alexander and the Fortec Motorsport team on their arrival at the two day test which began on Tuesday morning.
Day one, Rossi and Fortec focused on the base line set up of the track. March 16, 2011 - Following a productive test at Aragon Motorland, Spain last week, Alexander Rossi was once again behind the wheel this week for the 2nd collected FR3.5 test with Fortec Motorsport at the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona, but only for a few frustrating sessions. Torrid rain and changing conditions over both test days meant that the Fortec Motorsport team was not able to make use of the excellent testing track at Barcelona and made little progress into the planned testing program on either day of the test.

March, 9, 2011 - Alexander commenced two days of intensive testing with his 2011 World Series Renault team, Fortec Motorsport, at Motorland, Spain this week. Alexander had to get to grips with not only joining a new team, but working for the first time alongside his engineer in Formula Renault 3.5.
On a wet first morning's running yesterday, there were a few teething problems to iron out, but Alexander was quick to become accustomed to the new Dallara chassis and was able to provide invaluable technical feedback to develop the car. March 3-4th, 2011 - Alexander Rossi was invited by INTEL to the iRacing.com
Intel GP Series World Final at CeBIT (the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions) in Hannover, Germany, to crown the world's greatest sim racer.
The thirty-lap final race, in Star Mazdas at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, was held as part of the Intel Extreme Masters tournament and attracted a huge crowd to the Intel Hall on Friday. The final capped a year-long competition attracting more than 7,500 iRacing members from around the world, with final 8 in a shoot-out for the World Final.

American racing driver Alexander Rossi was 'truly impressed and motivated' after visiting the grand prix circuit site in Austin, Texas this week where he met with Bruce Knox, President and CEO of Formula 1 United States, and Tavo Hellmund, its promoter.

American racing driver Alexander Rossi has been selected by the FIA Institute to take part in its inaugural Young Driver Excellence Academy in 2011.
Alexander is one of twelve drivers from across the world, and from a variety of racing formulae, that have been accepted onto this prestigious program following an intensive three-day shoot out.
Eighteen drivers, who had been nominated for the Academy by their FIA-affiliated national sporting associations, took place in the three-day assessment in Austria, which consisted of being put through their paces on the track, at the gym and in the classroom.

American racing driver Alexander Rossi has been confirmed to drive for the Fortec Motorsports Ltd team competing in the 2011 World Series by Renault (Formula Renault 3.5 Series) Championship season.
Rossi has grabbed the attention of the European motorsport community with his winning performances and race craft. A strong World Series debut in Monaco was followed by an impressive performance in the 2010 post season tests in Aragon, Spain, which saw him top the time sheets. Hello everyone.
I trust that you are all having a brilliant holiday season at home with your friends and family.
I returned to California at the beginning of December;, training, relaxing and preparing for race program in 2011. Before I get into the future, let me take you back a couple months and give you a brief recap as to what went on.
Once the GP3 season ended in Monza, we immediately focused our attention to 2011 and winter testing in order to best evaluate our options for next year. First on the agenda was a two-day test in Barcelona with our favorite Czech team, ISR Racing. November 29,2010, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - American, Alexander Rossi put together the fourth fastest lap of the two-day GP2 test in Sunday's final session, driving Racing Engineering's Dallara GP2/08 around the 3.45-mile (5.5-km) Yas Marina Circuit in 1:47.280.
Rossi, a California native was only .142-second slower than Michael Herck's test-topping 1:47.138, also done Sunday afternoon. Rossi was the fastest rookie in the test, which concluded on-track activity for GP2 until next year.
