COTA is a Tilke-designed circuit, introduced in 2012
The circuit is characterised by a number of elevation changes (esp. T1 which is uphill and has a blind apex, and also the section from T3 to T9 which includes some adverse camber corners)
Front left tyre is prone to graining.
Due to the low temperatures & track texture, tyre warm-up was an issue in 2012 on both compounds
In terms of average speed, Austin is very close to Barcelona with a good mix of high speed corners (all the way from T2 to T10) and a long back straight
S3 is a technical section with low & medium speed corners
Braking & high speed stability are important
Circuit was confirmed as medium-low in terms of brake demand in 2012

September 23nd 2013, Marina Bay, Singapore
After a positive start to the weekend, Alexander Rossi looked in a strong position to be able to fight for a podium or win at his debut Singapore Grand Prix. Qualifying in 4th place on Friday and showing fantastic pace, only a red flag during the session prevented the American driver from putting his car on the front row.
However technical gremlins once again hindered Alexander's podium sights, and during Saturday's Feature Race brake issues from lap five eventually compromised his result. Despite battling the majority of the race with the issues, the brakes eventually failed during the final laps of the Grand Prix and Alexander was forced to retire.
Saturday's result meant that...

Monza, Italy, 8th September
An eventful weekend in Monza saw American driver, Alexander Rossi, step back onto the podium again in 2nd place at the Autodromo Nationale Monza, scoring valuable points for the team.
GP2 qualifying session with a red flag out on Alexander’s quickest lap, left him to abort his flying lap that would have put in toward the front of the grid for Saturday's feature race. Starting 14th and .65 seconds off pole, Alexander fought hard despite being hit on lap one to finish the race in 8th place, scoring points for the team and earning himself pole position for the start of the sprint race.
After a difficult start off the grid for Sunday’s race, Alexander managed to fight back in the short race,...

August, 26, 2014 - Spa Francorchamps, Belgium
A solid weekend at the Belgium round of the GP2 Series, as Alexander Rossi returns to the podium after the summer break.
Qualifying in 5th position ahead of the Feature Race, Alexander drove superbly to bring home the team's second trophy of the year. Alexander fought his way through the field to bring home the car in 3rd place, equalling his best result of the season so far.
Despite the good result on Saturday, Sunday's Sprint Race proved more difficult starting race 2 on used tyres that degraded very quickly. Alexander pitted for tires with 6 laps remaining, thus managing the fastest race lap at 1:59.880.
Alexander Rossi “It’s good to be back on the podium and to...

Nurburgring, Germany, 7th July 2013
Plenty of on track action at the Nurburgring saw American driver Alexander Rossi keep a clean race weekend and once again show his talent for overtaking, despite continued efforts to improve the car set up.
Understeer again compromised Alexander's qualifying session and although managing to place his car clearly in the top ten throughout the majority of the session, traffic caused problems in his final laps pushing him back down to 14th to start the feature race.
After another fantastic start, seeing Alexander rising to 8th place, tyre degradation and difficulties with car balance ultimately put paid to a top five finish, and Alexander used all his skills to defend his place towards the end of...
